As an on going work I take photographs of things I see repeated in the world around me , from writing on the backs of vans , to zig zag patterns. One of these photo collections is of ‘dick doodles’.

For an exhibition ‘Members’ about the male member I used my photos to make a work called ‘ Studies for David’. Penis doodles were copied from these photos and engraved in to marble. The title references Michelangelo’s famous marble nude ‘David’.
