I am a member of an art collective called the Krema collective.  For a show in Italy I sent the same sized (2cm x 2cm x 2cm) piece of plasticine to all of the 18 members with the instructions ‘Shape me and send me back.

I didn’t know what I was going to receive back and enjoyed working with this element of surprise.  The parts I received I ended up turning into the features on a bronze bust.

This piece was an experimental in the way it reinvents how the concept of the figurative human ‘ bust’  traditionally cast in bronze, could be made by a collective not just a single artist.
