Victorian pommel horse and nails

1.2 x 0.6 x 0.4

2017

Over 80 hours of welding individual nails, on to a fabricated steel top, went into transforming this Victorian pommel horse into a dysfunctional object. I am interested in the use of repetitive actions and challenging myself to work through lengthly creative processes. This piece also displays the more darkly humorous side of my practice.
